The connection between the ProcessGo Robot and the Conductor is the key for the Conductor to remotely operate and monitor the Robot. It is also the key for the Robot to successfully receive remote business processes. The connection between the ProcessGo Robot and the Conductor is connected through the use of the Conductor address, the port number, and the matching machine ID. The steps to connect are as follows.

Click the “Settings” button under the ProcessGo Robot menu bar to enter the settings panel, select the “Conductor” page, select the correct Conductor address and port number, and then click “Connect” to connect.

*Note: The machine ID is the machine code automatically generated by the computer. The Conductor address and the port number are set by the business personnel when configuring the management platform for the user. The data shown in the figure is only for testing purpose. For more details about the configuration, please consult your service representative.

For Robots that connect to the Conductor for the first time, the Robot will prompt the user to provide the machine ID to the administrator to get the permission to connect to the Conductor.

*At this time, the Conductor does not have information about the robot connected by the user. The Conductor administrator needs to add the robot to the Conductor before connecting to the Conductor.

The user only needs to copy the machine ID and send it to the administrator. Subsequent operations can be performed after the administrator adds the basic information of the robot to the Conductor.
